Does signing the paperwork for voluntary case management implicate me as an alleged perpetrator or is that cooperative?
My 15 year old is adhd/conduct disorder. Because of related issues, anger and addiction to electronics he is in therapy with two different therapists. A new issue related to going to the hospital while dangerously intoxicated gave CWS an entry into my life. This is my second time with VCM and the first time it had to do with ‘instability of housing’ while moving to Hawaii. We were in Air B and Bs until my condo was ready. The VCM did nothing but see if we had doctors and therapists. I am stretched financially and anytime my son is not at school or in an after school club, I work those extra hours. The time for what they offer is really hard for me. I don’t feel like voluntary is voluntary. If I needed anything it would be someone competent to help me with his IEP like Hawaii Disability Rights and I cannot get them to escort me to meetings. I also would like anger management related to teens and also addiction therapy related to electronics. I asked for these and got nothing related to this. If I have to cooperate, it is a hardship, but I will so that they can ch heck off that I am doing what they ask. Still, I am nervous on what to sign and what verbiage to change on their signature forms.
